Bible Verses about 'Burdens be lifted up'

I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted to him.
Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.”And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.”
Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.
After saying this, he was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see him.And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight.
Then Jesus led them to Bethany, and lifting his hands to heaven, he blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up to heaven.And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven.
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.
Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms.Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, The God who is our salvation. Selah
For I cried out to him for help, praising him as I spoke.I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was exalted with my tongue.
And he went to the place of the dead. There, in torment, he saw Abraham in the far distance with Lazarus at his side. The rich man shouted, ‘Father Abraham, have some pity! Send Lazarus over here to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. I am in anguish in these flames.’And in Hades he raised his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his arms. And he cried out and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus, so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.’
Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.Behold, as for the impudent one, His soul is not right within him; But the righteous one will live by his faith.
Hatred stirs up quarrels, but love makes up for all offenses.Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all offenses.
But when you had eaten and were satisfied, you became proud and forgot me.As they had their pasture, they became satisfied, And as they became satisfied, their heart became proud; Therefore they forgot Me.
Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.”And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
No, this is the kind of fasting I want: Free those who are wrongly imprisoned; lighten the burden of those who work for you. Let the oppressed go free, and remove the chains that bind people.Is this not the fast that I choose: To release the bonds of wickedness, To undo the ropes of the yoke, And to let the oppressed go free, And break every yoke?
Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.”And He summoned the crowd together with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”
The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all.But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.
Arise, O Lord! Punish the wicked, O God! Do not ignore the helpless!Arise, Lord; God, lift up Your hand. Do not forget the humble.
The grapevines have dried up, and the fig trees have withered. The pomegranate trees, palm trees, and apple trees— all the fruit trees—have dried up. And the people’s joy has dried up with them.The vine has dried up And the fig tree has withered; The pomegranate, the palm also, and the apple tree, All the trees of the field have dried up. Indeed, joy has dried up From the sons of mankind.
What are you waiting for? Get up and be baptized. Have your sins washed away by calling on the name of the Lord.Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins by calling on His name.
He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.
For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
We should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord.Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.
When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up!

A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare.A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger.
