| So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them. | But let justice roll out like waters, And righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. | But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream! |
| The one who overcomes will be clothed the same way, in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. | The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels. |
| But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. | So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. |
| The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’ | Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them. |
