- He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.
- For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

- The ransom of a man’s life is his riches,
but the poor hear no threats. - He who follows after righteousness and kindness
finds life, righteousness, and honor. - Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but when longing is fulfilled, it is a tree of life. - For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace.
- Keep your heart with all diligence,
for out of it is the wellspring of life. - You will show me the path of life.
In your presence is fullness of joy.
In your right hand there are pleasures forever more. - Death and life are in the power of the tongue;
those who love it will eat its fruit. - Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
- Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus, make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
