- Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. - The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
Because the Lord anointed me
To bring good news to the humble;
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim release to captives
And freedom to prisoners. - If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you.

Your faithfulness, Lord, will support me. - The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him.
- I permitted Myself to be sought by those who did not ask for Me;
I permitted Myself to be found by those who did not seek Me.
I said, ‘Here am I, here am I,’
To a nation which did not call on My name. - So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not My own, but His who sent Me.”
- But You, Lord, are a shield around me,
My glory, and the One who lifts my head. - With all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me wander from Your commandments. - Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
- Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?
- I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have revived me. - The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.
- In peace I will both lie down and sleep,
For You alone, Lord, have me dwell in safety. - All things are permitted for me, but not all things are of benefit. All things are permitted for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.
- Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; the one who believes in Me will live, even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”
- I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
- And He summoned the crowd together with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”
- And I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’
