- But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

- You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.

- In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep and God’s Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.

I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! - The prospect of the righteous is joy,
but the hope of the wicked will perish. - I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living. - Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
but violence covers the mouth of the wicked. - The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver.
The heart of the wicked is of little worth. - Love doesn’t harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.
- But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.
- But now faith, hope, and love remain—these three. The greatest of these is love.
- The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom.
The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. - For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
- Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects.
Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. - Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.
