| Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. | I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. | I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. |

| From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” | From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. |

| May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace. | The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. |
| And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil. | Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. |
| God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. | God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. |
