| But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. | But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God. |

| For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. | For so the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’ |
| The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. | The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry. |
