Bible Verses about 'Good faith'

For we live by faith, not by sight. For we walk by faith, not by sight.
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written: “But the righteous one will live by faith.”
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.In the same way, faith also, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.
Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.Knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not to have quarrels over opinions.
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.Now faith is the certainty of things hoped for, a proof of things not seen.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. But now faith, hope, and love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. For whoever has been born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.
Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.Turn from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. So then, while we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. And Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he regained his sight and began following Him on the road.
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”And He said to them, “Because of your meager faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.The good person out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil person out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.
Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified. We are Jews by nature and not sinners from the Gentiles; nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified.

No one should seek their own good, but the good of others. No one is to seek his own advantage, but rather that of his neighbor.
