Good faith (2/4)

Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.Turn away from youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, together with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart.
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.Through faith you are all children of God in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves in Christ.
But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.And whoever does not provide for relatives, especially for those who are living with him, has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.I have fought the good fight; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith. Now waiting for me is the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day—and not only to me, but to all those who have eagerly longed for his appearance.
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.Let your love be sincere. Loathe what is evil and hold fast to what is good.
We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners, yet we know that a man is justified not by the works of the Law but through faith in Jesus Christ. So we too came to believe in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in him and not by the works of the Law, for no one will be justified by the works of the Law.
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.But he is to ask with faith, without doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed about by the wind.
And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?Now who is going to harm you if you are eager to do what is right?
Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.Put your trust in the Lord and do good, that you may dwell in the land and be secure.
But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.But according to Scripture all things have been confined under sin, so that through faith in Jesus Christ what was promised might be given to those who believe.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.For it is by grace that you have been saved through faith. This has not come from you but from the gift of God. It does not come from works, so that no one can boast.
By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.By faith Abraham also received the power of procreation, even though he was well past the age—and Sarah herself was barren—because he believed that the one who had made the promise would be faithful in fulfilling it.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.But without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? If he is not, then you have failed the test.
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.Each of us must consider his neighbor’s good for the purpose of building him up.
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his mercy endures forever.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.The love of money is the root of all evils, and in their desire for it some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many serious wounds.
Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path.Then you will understand equity and justice as well as righteousness—every good path.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.If I have the gift of prophecy and the ability to understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and have all the faith necessary to move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.Test everything, and hold fast to what is good. Avoid every form of evil.
The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.The Lord is good, an unfailing refuge in a time of distress. He takes care of those who place their trust in him.
A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.A cheerful heart is excellent medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other.Brethren, we must always give thanks to God for you, and it is only right that we do so. For your faith grows ever more, and the love that all of you have for one another continues to increase.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!How wonderful and delightful it is for brothers to live together in unity.

The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.The powerful suffer want and go hungry, but those who seek the Lord want for no good thing.
