Him (3/4)

He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.
The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.
And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
We love him, because he first loved us.We love because He first loved us.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.”
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.
But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out: For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid. But when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake. For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him.
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.
As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.”
As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.
