- Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his loving kindness. - By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily, and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power.
- Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
- Like a father has compassion on his children,
so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him. - No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

- While they were there, the day had come for her to give birth. She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in bands of cloth and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn.
- But they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw him and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with them and said to them, “Cheer up! It is I! Don’t be afraid.”
- We love him, because he first loved us.
- We are his witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
- Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him.
Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way,
because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. - When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.
- Because it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer on his behalf.
- For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up.
- For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
- Beloved, if our hearts don’t condemn us, we have boldness toward God; so whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.
- As for God, his way is perfect.
Yahweh’s word is tried.
He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him. - ‘For in him we live, move, and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also his offspring.’
- Sing to God! Sing praises to his name!
Extol him who rides on the clouds:
to Yah, his name!
Rejoice before him!
A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows,
is God in his holy habitation. - But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?
