- As for God, his way is perfect.
Yahweh’s word is tested.
He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him. - They set up over his head the accusation against him written, “THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
- That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death.
- For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
- This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
- Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. - A man’s pride brings him low,
but one of lowly spirit gains honor. - If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.
- Only fear Yahweh, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things he has done for you.
- Yahweh your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you if you return to him.
- The father of the righteous has great joy.
Whoever fathers a wise child delights in him. - Only take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of Yahweh commanded you, to love Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to keep his commandments, to hold fast to him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”
- Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.”
- For,
“He who would love life
and see good days,
let him keep his tongue from evil
and his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good.
Let him seek peace and pursue it.” - But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ.
- Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with me.
- One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.
- And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
- He reveals the deep and secret things.
He knows what is in the darkness,
and the light dwells with him. - This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.
- If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there my servant will also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.
- God, having raised up his servant Jesus, sent him to you first to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your wickedness.
- By this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent his only born Son into the world that we might live through him.
