- I desire to do your will, my God;

and I will answer them. - Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
- No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
- Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God. - When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.
- My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge. - Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
- So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them. - I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
- Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
- And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
- The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
