I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.
Go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me.But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
When I thought, “My foot slips,” your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up.When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.
You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am.Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.

For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
