Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is counted wise. When he shuts his lips, he is thought to be discerning.Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.
For I command you today to love Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply, and that Yahweh your God may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it.If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you today, by loving the Lord your God, by walking in his ways, and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rules, then you shall live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to take possession of it.
You shall remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and Yahweh your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm. Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.As for you, O Lord, you will not restrain your mercy from me; your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me!
In the multitude of words there is no lack of disobedience, but he who restrains his lips does wisely.When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent.
But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the price of the land? While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit.If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.

You shall not do any work in it, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates; for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore Yahweh blessed the Sabbath day, and made it holy.Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
So then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.
Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Do the things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
Establish my footsteps in your word. Don’t let any iniquity have dominion over me.Keep steady my steps according to your promise, and let no iniquity get dominion over me.
One who brings gossip betrays a confidence, but one who is of a trustworthy spirit is one who keeps a secret.Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy in spirit keeps a thing covered.
