- Whoever keeps the commandment keeps his life;
he who despises his ways will die. - He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber. - Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets,
but he who is trustworthy in spirit keeps a thing covered. - Whoever gets sense loves his own soul;
he who keeps understanding will discover good. - Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.
- Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.
- Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise;
when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent. - But if a wicked person turns away from all his sins that he has committed and keeps all my statutes and does what is just and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
- Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
- Behold, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life. - The Lord will keep you from all evil;
he will keep your life.
The Lord will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore. - Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.
- Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life,
but he who rejects reproof leads others astray. - Unless the Lord builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the watchman stays awake in vain.
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.Next verse!With image
