- He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul;
but he that despiseth his ways shall die. - He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:
he that keepeth thee will not slumber. - A talebearer revealeth secrets:
but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter. - He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul:
he that keepeth understanding shall find good. - And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
- Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise:
and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding. - Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
- He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
- But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
- Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil:
he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in
from this time forth, and even for evermore. - He keepeth the paths of judgment,
and preserveth the way of his saints. - He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction:
but he that refuseth reproof erreth. - Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.
- Except the Lord build the house,
they labour in vain that build it:
except the Lord keep the city,
the watchman waketh but in vain. - Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
- He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life:
but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. - A fool uttereth all his mind:
but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards. - If ye love me, keep my commandments.
- Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
- I made haste, and delayed not
to keep thy commandments. - Keep thy tongue from evil,
and thy lips from speaking guile. - Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
- Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.
Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life.For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.Next verse!With image
