| Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. | Let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fall through such disobedience as theirs. |

| And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. | So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up. |
| Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. | Who is wise and understanding among you? Show by your good life that your works are done with gentleness born of wisdom. |
