| Who is wise, that he may understand these things? Who is prudent, that he may know them? For the ways of Yahweh are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them. | Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the Lord are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them. |

| So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. | Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger. |
| Teach me your way, Yahweh. I will walk in your truth. Make my heart undivided to fear your name. | Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name. |
