- I will walk in freedom,
for I have devoted myself to your commandments. - For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
- For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.
- But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.
- So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.
- For you are free, yet you are God’s slaves, so don’t use your freedom as an excuse to do evil.
- The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me,
for the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted
and to proclaim that captives will be released
and prisoners will be freed. - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released,
that the blind will see,
that the oppressed will be set free.
So remember this and keep it firmly in mind: The Lord is God both in heaven and on earth, and there is no other. And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.Next verse! With image
