- For the Son of Man also came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

- Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord.
- Don’t lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator.
- By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.

In your presence is fullness of joy.
In your right hand there are pleasures forever more. - For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
- Yahweh is my light and my salvation.
Whom shall I fear?
Yahweh is the strength of my life.
Of whom shall I be afraid? - Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
- Yahweh will command his loving kindness in the daytime.
In the night his song shall be with me:
a prayer to the God of my life. - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
- Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
- But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.
- Because your loving kindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise you.
So I will bless you while I live.
I will lift up my hands in your name. - For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?
- When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
- My son, don’t forget my teaching,
but let your heart keep my commandments,
for they will add to you length of days,
years of life, and peace.
