But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.But I am the Lord your God from the land of Egypt; you know no God but me, and besides me there is no savior.
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one.
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.“For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building.
But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.
Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.
Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.
No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.
Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand; forget not the afflicted.
Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.
And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families.
