- A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
and loving favour rather than silver and gold. - And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
- Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
- But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
- I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye. - In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
- Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
save me for thy mercies' sake. - The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. - For thy mercy is great unto the heavens,
and thy truth unto the clouds. - He loveth righteousness and judgment:
the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
when shall I come and appear before God? - Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy:
for thou renderest to every man
according to his work. - Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
- Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
- Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time,
and in the night his song shall be with me,
and my prayer unto the God of my life. - He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
- Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.
- For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
- For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.Next verse!With image
