- A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches,
Loving favor rather than silver and gold. - But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
- Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous.
- And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
- Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
- I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye. - In that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.
- Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You. - If I say, “My foot slips,”
Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. - Make Your face shine upon Your servant;
Save me for Your mercies’ sake. - Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
- My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God? - The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. - For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens,
And Your truth unto the clouds. - Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.
- He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
- He loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy. - Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever. - The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime,
And in the night His song shall be with me—
A prayer to the God of my life. - Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy;
For You render to each one according to his work. - And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
- For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
- For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God?
For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness. Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.Next verse!With image
