But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.”But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
Go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay.Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak.But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful.He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.”Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
