Matthew 24:24 (3/5)

Give us today our daily bread.Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.If you forgive others for the wrongs they have done, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.
Moreover when you fast, don’t be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.Whenever you fast, do not assume a gloomy expression like the hypocrites who contort their faces so that others may realize that they are fasting. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.
But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that the fact that you are fasting will not be obvious to others but only to your Father who is hidden. And your Father who sees everything that is done in secret will reward you.
Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal.Do not store up treasures for yourselves on earth, where they will be destroyed by moth and rust and where thieves break in and steal. Rather, store up treasure for yourselves in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves cannot break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. For where your treasure is, there will your heart also be.
No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon. No one can serve two masters. For you will either hate the one and love the other or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Therefore, heed my words. Do not be concerned about your life and what you will have to eat or drink, or about your body and what you will wear. Surely life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?Gaze upon the birds in the sky. They do not sow or reap or store in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of far greater value than they?
But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.Rather, seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient. So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough troubles of its own.
Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged.Do not judge, so that you in turn may not be judged.
Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye?Why do you take note of the splinter in your brother’s eye but do not notice the wooden plank in your own eye?
Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets. In everything, deal with others as you would like them to deal with you. This is the Law and the Prophets.
Enter in by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and the way is restricted that leads to life! There are few who find it.Enter through the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and those who find it are few in number.
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.Be on guard against false prophets who come to you disguised in sheep’s clothing, but who inwardly are ravenous wolves.
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my heavenly Father.
Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.Everyone who hears these words of mine and acts in accordance with them will be like a wise man who constructed his house on a rock foundation.
When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.”When Jesus heard this, he said, “It is not the healthy who need a physician, but rather those who are sick.”
But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.Go and learn what this text means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. You received without payment; give in the same way.

Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.Have no fear of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, fear the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
