Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.
And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”
In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.’
Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.
For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave.Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
