| Give us today the food we need. | Give us this day our daily bread. |
| Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. | Judge not, that ye be not judged. |

| Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God. | Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance. |
| Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near. | Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. |
| But the one who endures to the end will be saved. | But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. |
| God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God. | Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. |
| God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted. | Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. |
| And forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. | And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. |
| Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. | For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. |
| A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ | And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. |
| But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect. | Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. |
| You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it. | And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. |
| Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear. | Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. |
| God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God. | Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. |
| Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” | And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. |
| So you, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know what day your Lord is coming. | Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. |
| God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. | Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. |
| But many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then. | But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. |
| You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. | Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. |
| And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one. | And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. |
| If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. | And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. |
| For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them. | For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. |
| But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! | But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. |
| God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied. | Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. |
| Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” | Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. |
