Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. | So Jesus told them, “My message is not my own; it comes from God who sent me.” |
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. | Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus. |

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. | Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. |
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. | And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. |
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. | May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s holy people. |
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. | May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. |
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. | For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died. |
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. | You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. |
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. | May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. |
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. | Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” |
And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. | And Jesus said to him, “Go, for your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road. |
Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. | May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. |
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. | “Don’t cling to me,” Jesus said, “for I haven’t yet ascended to the Father. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. | Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.” |
For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. | For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance. |
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. | “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” |
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. | Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. |
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. | Then Jesus shouted, “Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!” And with those words he breathed his last. |

Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “Take this and eat it, for this is my body.” |
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. | All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. |
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. | But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. |
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. | Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.” |
And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews. | A sign was fastened above Jesus’ head, announcing the charge against him. It read: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.” |
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. | All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation. |
