Chinese (traditional)- For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness.
I will remember their sins and lawless deeds no more. - No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.
- Don’t judge,
and you won’t be judged.
Don’t condemn,
and you won’t be condemned.
Set free,
and you will be set free. - Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
- But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation.
- When you vow a vow to God, don’t defer to pay it; for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay that which you vow.
- Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”
- For even though the fig tree doesn’t flourish,
nor fruit be in the vines,
the labor of the olive fails,
the fields yield no food,
the flocks are cut off from the fold,
and there is no herd in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in Yahweh.
I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! - This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
- According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.
- Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
- Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
- Don’t be wise in your own eyes.
Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.
It will be health to your body,
and nourishment to your bones. - He gives power to the weak.
He increases the strength of him who has no might. - Love doesn’t harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.
- My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord.
Apart from you I have no good thing.” - For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.
- Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no other God but one.
- For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except God’s Spirit.
- The second is like this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father who has given them to me is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.
- Tear your heart and not your garments,
and turn to Yahweh, your God;
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness,
and relents from sending calamity. - There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
- For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way. God relented of the disaster which he said he would do to them, and he didn’t do it.
