- “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are expedient. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be brought under the power of anything.
- Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

- Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me? - He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life.
- He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress.
I will not be shaken. - Turn my heart toward your statutes,
not toward selfish gain. - So then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.
- Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
- He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me.
- Lord, all my desire is before you.
My groaning is not hidden from you. - But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.
- Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.
- I am inquired of by those who didn’t ask.
I am found by those who didn’t seek me.
I said, ‘See me, see me,’ to a nation that was not called by my name. - “If you will not listen, and if you will not take it to heart, to give glory to my name,” says Yahweh of Armies, “then I will send the curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Indeed, I have cursed them already, because you do not take it to heart.”
- For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what you have, not according to what you don’t have.
