- Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! - Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
- Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. - Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever. - Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear Me and always keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!
- Oh, give thanks to the Lord!
Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples! - Oh, how great is Your goodness,
Which You have laid up for those who fear You,
Which You have prepared for those who trust in You
In the presence of the sons of men! - With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! - Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven,
Whose sin is covered. - Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful. - Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.
- I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions,
And like a cloud, your sins.
Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.
And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God.Next verse!With image
