- O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
- O taste and see that the Lord is good;
happy are those who take refuge in him. - O come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! - If only they had such a mind as this, to fear me and to keep all my commandments always, so that it might go well with them and with their children forever!
- O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever. - O how abundant is your goodness
that you have laid up for those who fear you,
and accomplished for those who take refuge in you,
in the sight of everyone! - O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples. - Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. - With my whole heart I seek you;
do not let me stray from your commandments. - Happy are those
who do not follow the advice of the wicked,
or take the path that sinners tread,
or sit in the seat of scoffers. - Ah Lord God! It is you who made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.
- I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud,
and your sins like mist;
return to me, for I have redeemed you.
When you are praying, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard because of their many words. It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.Next verse!With image
