| And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof. | And now I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that not one thing has failed of all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you; all have come to pass for you, not one of them has failed. |

| Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. | I am coming soon; hold fast to what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. |
| Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways. | Happy is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways. |

| We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth. | We must always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of everyone of you for one another is increasing. |

| The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. | The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. |
