Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.

God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith.Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.
Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
Or can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be scorched?Can one walk on hot coals, And his feet not be seared?
The heart is deceitful above all things and it is exceedingly corrupt. Who can know it? “I, Yahweh, search the mind. I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.”The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.
A fool vents all of his anger, but a wise man brings himself under control.A fool vents all his feelings, But a wise man holds them back.
A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps.A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.
It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife, but every fool will be quarreling.It is honorable for a man to stop striving, Since any fool can start a quarrel.
If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield.For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
Before destruction the heart of man is proud, but before honor is humility.Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, And before honor is humility.
Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.”For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

It is a snare to a man to make a rash dedication, then later to consider his vows.It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy, And afterward to reconsider his vows.

Praise Yah! Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, who delights greatly in his commandments.Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments.
