Protect (2/4)

Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men!How great is your goodness, O Lord, which you have stored up for those who fear you and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you, in the presence of all the people.
Does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.Love does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.If the Lord does not build the house, those who construct it labor in vain. If the Lord does not guard the city, those who keep watch over it do so in vain.
I will love You, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.I love you, O Lord, my strength, O Lord, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer. My God is my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. While physical training has some value, the benefits of godliness are unlimited, since it holds out promise not only for this life but also for the life to come.
A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the Lord upholds the righteous.Preferable is the little that the righteous possess than the great wealth of the wicked. For the power of the wicked will be overcome, but the Lord protects the righteous.
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.Beloved, I pray that everything is going well with you and that your bodily health is equal to that of your soul.
Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come— that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles. But I have had help from God to this very day, and I stand here and testify to both the lowly and the great. I assert nothing more than what the Prophets and Moses said would occur: that the Christ must suffer, and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light to the people and to the Gentiles.
Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. For you know that the testing of your faith will develop perseverance.
For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.Such godly sorrow results in repentance that leads to salvation and causes no regret, whereas worldly sorrow produces death.
And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. He is himself the sacrifice for our sins— and not only for our sins but also for the sins of the whole world.
In like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.I also ask that the women should dress themselves modestly and decently in suitable clothing. They should be adorned not with braided hair or with gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good works, as is fitting for women who profess their reverence for God.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. This is what love is: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins.
How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger who announces peace, who bears good news and proclaims glad tidings, announcing salvation and saying to Zion, “Your God is king.”
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and allow no opportunity for the flesh to gratify its sinful desires.

Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.Indeed, the Lord God does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants, the prophets.
How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house.I did not hesitate to tell you what was for your benefit as I proclaimed the word to you and taught you publicly as well as from house to house.
But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine. As for you, teach what is consistent with sound doctrine.

God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.He gives a home to those who are forsaken and leads out prisoners amid chants of exultation, while rebels are forced to live in an arid land.
