Proverbs 3:5 (5/6)

It is rash to pledge a sacred gift, or to make a vow and then have second thoughts.It is a snare for one to say rashly, “It is holy,” and begin to reflect only after making a vow.
A man’s ways may seem right to him, but the Lord weighs the heart.All deeds are right in the sight of the doer, but the Lord weighs the heart.
To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.
