Proverbs 29:25

The fear of others will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is secure.

Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.

The fear of man bringeth a snare:
but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.

but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.

Fearing people is a dangerous trap,
but trusting the Lord means safety.

The fear of others lays a snare,
but one who trusts in the Lord is secure.

The fear of man proves to be a snare,
but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe.

Bible verse of the day

I have given you a command. Be strong and brave, do not be afraid nor dismayed. I, the Lord, your God, will be with you wherever you go.

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace when we are in need of help.
