- Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
- I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.
- As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.

- Therefore produce fruit worthy of repentance!
- “For I have no pleasure in the death of him who dies,” says the Lord Yahweh. “Therefore turn yourselves, and live!”
- I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.
- The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- Even so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner repenting.
- I indeed baptize you in water for repentance, but he who comes after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.
- For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death.
- But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

I will make known my words to you. - Paul said, “John indeed baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe in the one who would come after him, that is, in Christ Jesus.”
- Therefore leaving the teaching of the first principles of Christ, let’s press on to perfection—not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God, of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
Be exalted, God, above the heavens!
