- Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.

- As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
- Paul said, “John baptized with a baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in Him who was coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”
- Turn to my rebuke,
Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you. - In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
- For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.
- Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of instruction about washings and laying on of hands, and about the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment.
A prudent person sees evil and hides himself;
But the naive proceed, and pay the penalty. The Lord is with you when you are with Him. And if you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you abandon Him, He will abandon you.Next verse!With image
