- Turn you at my reproof:
behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you,
I will make known my words unto you. - Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge:
but he that hateth reproof is brutish. - A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. - He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction:
but he that refuseth reproof erreth. - All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
- My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord;
neither be weary of his correction:
For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth;
even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;
for in thee do I trust:
cause me to know the way wherein I should walk;
for I lift up my soul unto thee.Next verse!With image
