So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing. 2 Thessalonians 1:3	Brethren, we must always give thanks to God for you, and it is only right that we do so. God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. Matthew 5:10	Blessed are those who are persecuted in the cause of justice, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. righteousness kingdom persecution

But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants. John 3:21	However, whoever lives by the truth comes to the light so that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been done in God. light truth obedience
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” Genesis 2:18	And the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I wish to make another creature who will be like him.” creation marriage relationships

For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are. Romans 3:20	For no one can be regarded as justified in the sight of God by keeping the Law. The Law brings only the consciousness of sin. sin law righteousness
But God has protected me right up to this present time so I can testify to everyone, from the least to the greatest. I teach nothing except what the prophets and Moses said would happen— that the Messiah would suffer and be the first to rise from the dead, and in this way announce God’s light to Jews and Gentiles alike. Acts 26:22-23	But I have had help from God to this very day, and I stand here and testify to both the lowly and the great. God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor? You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God. Romans 10:4	For Christ is the fulfillment of the Law for the justification of all who believe. faith law righteousness
In the night I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek you. For only when you come to judge the earth will people learn what is right. Isaiah 26:9	My soul longs for you throughout the night, and my spirit within me seeks your presence. For when your judgments are revealed to the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn to practice justice. righteousness judgment learning
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Romans 5:1	Therefore, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. faith righteousness peace
I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die. Galatians 2:21	I do not set aside the grace of God, for if justification comes through the Law, then Christ died for nothing. grace righteousness law
For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace. Galatians 5:4	Those of you who seek to be justified by the Law have cut yourselves off from Christ and have fallen away from grace. righteousness grace law
Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God. Habakkuk 2:4	The proud man’s heart is not upright, but the righteous man will live because of his faith. righteousness life reliability
“All right, you may test him,” the Lord said to Satan. “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically.” So Satan left the Lord’s presence. Job 1:12	The Lord then said, “Very well. All that he has is in your power. However, you may not lay a hand upon him.” So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord. devil protection almighty
No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way. Hebrews 12:11	At the time that discipline is received, it always seems painful rather than pleasant, but afterward it yields a harvest of peace and uprightness to those who have been trained by it. righteousness peace children
This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” Romans 1:17	In it the righteousness of God is revealed, beginning in faith and established in faith. As it is written: “The one who is righteous will live through faith.” faith righteousness salvation
