Chinese (traditional)- I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
- And you will say on that day:
Give thanks to the Lord,
invoke his name;
make known his deeds among the nations;
proclaim that his name is exalted. - The one who leads a blameless life
and does what is right,
who speaks the truth from the heart
and does not slander anyone,
who does not harm a friend
and does not scorn a neighbor. - I will offer praise to you, O Lord,
with my whole heart;
I will recount all your wondrous deeds. - When they had finished their prayer, the place where they were gathered together shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and proclaimed the word of God fearlessly.
- The whispers of a gossiper are tasty morsels
that corrode one’s inner being. - You have already been cleansed
by the word I have spoken to you. - I then heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me!”
- But what I tell you is this: Do not swear at all, either by heaven, since it is God’s throne, or by earth, since that is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, since that is the city of the great King.
When they had finished their prayer, the place where they were gathered together shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and proclaimed the word of God fearlessly. For the Lord himself is the one who bestows wisdom;
from his mouth come forth knowledge and understanding.Next verse!With image
