Bible Verses about 'Surely'
- Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in Yahweh’s house forever. - Surely the Lord Yahweh will do nothing,
unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets. - Surely he has borne our sickness
and carried our suffering;
yet we considered him plagued,
struck by God, and afflicted. - But if the wicked turns from all his sins that he has committed, and keeps all my statutes, and does that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live. He shall not die.
- He who walks blamelessly walks surely,
but he who perverts his ways will be found out. - Behold, God is my helper.
The Lord is the one who sustains my soul. - He who testifies these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus! - For he will never be shaken.
The righteous will be remembered forever. - You shall not take advantage of any widow or fatherless child. If you take advantage of them at all, and they cry at all to me, I will surely hear their cry; and my wrath will grow hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.
- The vine has dried up, and the fig tree withered—
the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree,
even all of the trees of the field are withered;
for joy has withered away from the sons of men. - You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Yahweh.
- Can anyone forbid these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just like us.
- For it is written,
“‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘to me every knee will bow.
Every tongue will confess to God.’” - He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it.
- Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
- For you will bless the righteous.
Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield. - Also to you, Lord, belongs loving kindness,
for you reward every man according to his work. - Turn at my reproof.
Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you.
I will make known my words to you. - Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
- Why do you set your eyes on that which is not?
For it certainly sprouts wings like an eagle and flies in the sky. - “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.”
- Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
- For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
- Examine your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don’t you know about your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.
- In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; yes, God has made the one side by side with the other, to the end that man should not find out anything after him.
