- In You, Lord, I have taken refuge;
Let me never be put to shame;
In Your righteousness rescue me. - Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
Save me and I will be saved,
For You are my praise. - And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?’
- Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You I wait all the day. - Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. - Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.
- From my distress I called upon the Lord;
The Lord answered me and put me in an open space. - For You are my rock and my fortress;
For the sake of Your name You will lead me and guide me. - My times are in Your hand;
Rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me. - But as for me, I will be on the watch for the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. - You, Lord, will not withhold Your compassion from me;
Your mercy and Your truth will continually watch over me. - Then the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not reach out and put your hand on him.” So Satan departed from the presence of the Lord.
- The Lord is my shepherd,
I will not be in need.
He lets me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters. - For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
- And He said to them, “Whoever receives this child in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me; for the one who is least among all of you, this is the one who is great.”
- If an army encamps against me,
My heart will not fear;
If war arises against me,
In spite of this I am confident. - Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness;
According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings.
Wash me thoroughly from my guilt
And cleanse me from my sin. - I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
- I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
- I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
- Yet I have been the Lord your God
Since the land of Egypt;
And you were not to know any god except Me,
For there is no savior besides Me. - And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
- Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I get up;
You understand my thought from far away. - Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; the one who comes to Me will not be hungry, and the one who believes in Me will never be thirsty.”
- You call Me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord’; and you are correct, for so I am.
