Trust and obey (2/4)

  • But I have trusted in Your faithfulness;
    My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
    I will sing to the Lord,
    Because He has looked after me.
  • So you shall keep My commandments, and do them; I am the Lord.
  • Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.
  • In You, Lord, I have taken refuge;
    Let me never be put to shame;
    In Your righteousness rescue me.
  • The fear of man brings a snare,
    But one who trusts in the Lord will be protected.
  • The Lord redeems the souls of His servants,
    And none of those who take refuge in Him will suffer for their guilt.
  • As for God, His way is blameless;
    The word of the Lord is refined;
    He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.
  • As for God, His way is blameless;
    The word of the Lord is refined;
    He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.
  • If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments so as to carry them out, then I shall give you rains in their season, so that the land will yield its produce and the trees of the field will bear their fruit.
  • One who pays attention to the word will find good,
    And blessed is one who trusts in the Lord.
  • And I will put My Spirit within you and bring it about that you walk in My statutes, and are careful and follow My ordinances.
  • Do not weary yourself to gain wealth;
    Stop dwelling on it.
  • How great is Your goodness,
    Which You have stored up for those who fear You,
    Which You have performed for those who take refuge in You,
    Before the sons of mankind!
  • The Lord is my strength and my shield;
    My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
    Therefore my heart triumphs,
    And with my song I shall thank Him.
  • It shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, so that you will do them and not follow your own heart and your own eyes, which led you to prostitute yourselves.
  • Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.
  • “I love You, Lord, my strength.”
    The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my savior,
    My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
    My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
  • Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
    On those who wait for His faithfulness.
  • But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting for those who fear Him,
    And His justice to the children’s children,
    To those who keep His covenant
    And remember His precepts, so as to do them.
  • Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • And it will be righteousness for us if we are careful to follow all this commandment before the Lord our God, just as He commanded us.
  • The conclusion, when everything has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.
  • In that I am commanding you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, so that you may live and become numerous, and that the Lord your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to take possession of it.
  • I am the Lord your God; walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and follow them. Sanctify My Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between Me and you, so that you may know that I am the Lord your God.
  • He will cover you with His pinions,
    And under His wings you may take refuge;
    His faithfulness is a shield and wall.

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
