- But as for me, I will look to Yahweh.
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. - I thank you and praise you,
O God of my fathers,
who have given me wisdom and might,
and have now made known to me what we desired of you;
for you have made known to us the king’s matter. - So that with good courage we say,
“The Lord is my helper. I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” - I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations.
I will sing praises to you among the peoples.
