| Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. | Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. |

| I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing! | I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing! |
| You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. | For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise. |

| For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. | For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. |
| May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. | The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. |
