- From my distress I called upon the Lord;
The Lord answered me and put me in an open space. - Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
- The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent and believe in the gospel.
- From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
- Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choice of you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.

And my soul, which You have redeemed. - In my distress I called upon the Lord,
And cried to my God for help;
He heard my voice from His temple,
And my cry for help before Him came into His ears. - But as for you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
- Let the peace of Christ, to which you were indeed called in one body, rule in your hearts; and be thankful.
- I am coming quickly; hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.

This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”
- Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.
- But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
- Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.
- Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I get up;
You understand my thought from far away. - But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written: “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
- You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by the Law; you have fallen from grace.
- This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
- It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Now if your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have gained your brother.
- These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
- You have also given me the shield of Your salvation,
And Your right hand upholds me;
And Your gentleness makes me great.
You enlarge my steps under me,
And my feet have not slipped.
