- As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
- Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
- Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
- There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
- After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven. - And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
- Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
- I called upon the Lord in distress:
the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. - But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
- Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
- Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
- Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
- Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
- Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God. - But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
- And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
- And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
- God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.
- For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - In my distress I called upon the Lord,
and cried unto my God:
he heard my voice out of his temple,
and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
